The club is based in the village of Winterslow, which is roughly 6 miles east of Salisbury. Formerly known as Winterslow Juniors the club has grown hugely over the past years.
Junior football has been played on and off in the village for many years, but the present Winterslow mini soccer set up has been running in much the same way for over 15 years. It was originally started by a few keen 'Dads' but the founder members have now moved on and the club has continued on a 'hand-me-down' basis over the past years.
In June 2001, despite healthy numbers in the under 10's and below age groups, the club was struggling with players for its Under 11's team, and the decision was made to rename the club in the short term to Clarendon Juniors in an attempt to recruit new players from the surrounding areas who didn't want to join a village they didn't come from. (Clarendon Way links Winterslow with Salisbury and Clarendon was deemed a suitable name)
The decision paid off and despite the Under 11's having to move out of the village to play in Salisbury due to lack of playing pitches, the club continued to grow.
At the start of the 2005/06 season the club broke the 100 members mark and ran 7 league teams from Under 8's through to Under 13's who all play in Winterslow while the under 16's team play in Salisbury. For the 2010/11 season the club will have 11 teams from under 8's through to under 18's including under 16's girls and a mens senior team.
